The EMP Museum behind me (designed by Frank Gehry) houses the history of musical artists whose career blossomed in Seattle. While Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Jimi Hendrix are arguably the most well known Seattle artists, I was surprised to learn that The Presidents of the United States, Sir-Mix-a-Lot, and Heart also got their start here.

  2. OMWord, I immediately clicked the link to see if the museum was here in DC! I knew it was too good to be true. :o( I've been meaning to find my way to Seattle. I do have friends out there. Hmmm...
