My DKNY sweater from Marshalls is just the right thickness to layer with. Remember, it's the sweater with the detachable turtleneck. (See it styled with the turtleneck here.) It's one of my favorite pieces I've found at Marshalls.
One misconception I had about Marshalls prior to becoming one of their Project Fab bloggers is that all of their clothes were from a past season or had some kind of irregularity to them, but that's simply not true. You can find the same name brand clothing you currently see selling on other websites but at a fraction of the price. Case in point - this BB Dakota army jacket I'm wearing. I found it on clearance at Marshalls for ...wait for it...$15! It's currently on sale on the BB Dakota site for $158, on Zappos for $108, and on Nasty Gal for $99. It's the perfect light jacket for trans-seasonal dressing.

Disclosure: I have received free products or value from Marshalls of The TJX Companies, Inc. in connection with my affiliation with Marshalls Project FAB. However, I did purchase the DKNY sweater on my own and all opinions are my own.
