I've never declared a birthday month before and am usually pretty quiet about my birthday. I normally celebrate with a trip or go to a nice dinner with my husband. This year I feel like making a bigger deal out of it, and I think it has a lot to do with my pregnancy. I'm feeling so good and happy! Not that I wasn't before, but it's a completely different feeling now. I feel like celebrating all the time! So in the spirit of gift guides (the holidays are basically here), I'm starting my wish list. Right now, it's mostly books which might seem kind of lame, but it's honestly things I really want. Don't worry, I'll keep adding to it.

If you find this a bit obnoxious, I get it... but in my years of wisdom (I'm getting up there!), I encourage you to celebrate your life and to ask for things you want more often.

    Finished reading "Gone Girl" a couple weeks ago and I told myself that if I liked the book then I'll purchase her other two books. Well, I liked it (besides the ending) so will get the other two.

    My sister bought me the (purple...favorite color) Clarisonic for my birthday. So far, so good.

    Interested in reading "Girl Boss", too.
