I had such a nice Mother's Day! I wish I could repeat it everyday. My husband and daughter took me out to brunch at Cork where Blair gave me the gift of falling asleep as soon as we ordered. She sweetly slept through the whole brunch. We're slowly taking her out more but are still figuring out the best times to do it. Just last night we tried to take her to dinner with an out-of-town friend, but she cried the whole time! We decided to leave. We were "those people". I think it was just too close to her bedtime.
I'm still slowly working off my baby weight. I'm trying not to buy any new clothes until I get back down to my old size and can do a closet audit. This is a new outfit with old clothing. These culottes used to be a lot looser on me, but I'm celebrating the small victory of getting them over my butt.
